Shampoo and conditioner alone are not giving you the healthy hair you desire. To have the most luxurious hair possible, you will need to step out of the shower and go to the kitchen.


According to a Chicago-based dietitian, Dawn Jackson, hair grows about 1/4 to 1/2 inch each month, and the foundation of all new hair, nail, and skin growth is the nutrients you eat. If you consume a healthy diet, you will grow healthier and stronger cells throughout your entire body.


Be careful of dietary supplements to thicken hair or make it grow faster. They may go wrong. Even though you can get beauty supplements on the shelves of most pharmacies or stores, try to get the nutrients you require from foods at any time possible. In rare cases, excess certain nutrients supplementation, such as vitamin A, has been related to hair loss.

1) Salmon Fish

4) Poultry

Poultry such as chicken and turkey provide high-quality protein that will give you the healthy hair. Without enough high-quality protein, you can experience weak breakable hair and can result in hair discolor.

Eggs are one of the great protein sources. They contain vitamin B-12 and biotin, which are very important beauty nutrients for hair.

Low-fat dairy products such as yogurt skim and milk are best sources of calcium, an essential mineral for hair growth. They also contain casein and whey, both are high-quality protein sources.


10) Carrots

Carrots are the best source of vitamin A, which supports a healthy scalp. As a healthy scalp is essential for a well-conditioned shiny hair, it is wise to include carrots in your diet plan.
